Whether drifting along the midway, lurking in the mirror maze, or slyly appraising the crowd from the shadows, the Ushers of Specter Parish were always together. They’d been an inseparable pair for as long as anyone cared to remember. Whether it was to stave off the loneliness of the long road traveled, or if they were metaphysically bound to one another, no one knew. But no matter where the circus wagons ambled, the haunted siblings were sure to follow.
